Assemble the Phin
Place the phin filter over the glass with condensed milk. Add the ground coffee to the brewing chamber and gently shake to level the grounds.
Bloom the Coffee
Pour 20ml of hot water over the coffee grounds. Wait for 30 seconds for the coffee to bloom and release its aroma.
Second Pour
Pour an additional 80ml of hot water into the phin filter. Cover with the lid to retain heat.
Wait for Dripping
Allow the coffee to drip through the phin filter into the glass. This process should take about 4 minutes.

Stir and Add Ice
Once the coffee has finished dripping, stir the condensed milk and coffee together. Add ice cubes to the glass and stir again.
Enjoy
Your Vietnamese iced coffee is ready to be enjoyed. You can adjust the sweetness by adding more condensed milk if desired.
Tips
For a stronger brew, use a finer grind, but be careful not to over-extract.
If you prefer your coffee less sweet, use less condensed milk or opt for a different sweetener.
The quality of the robusta beans significantly impacts the final flavor; choose a reputable brand.
